This is one of the most heartbreaking books I've ever read.
I had been reading a whole bunch of fantasy-paranormal books and I decided I needed a good little break from my usual reads. So since I've stumbled upon Melina Marchetta's name in various other places here in Goodreads, I decided that this was the perfect book to fill my brain with some little realistic stories... And, the result...
This book is a carefully constructed puzzle of emotions, layered stories and incredible characters. They felt so real... I am amazed.
